Join a dynamic and growing manufacturing company as a Finance Manager in a newly created role reporting to the Divisional Managing Director. Our client, a leader in its field, is looking for a motivated individual with a passion for finance and a knack for improving processes.
As the Finance Manager, you will oversee end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and process improvements. You will support divisional and group financial requirements, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and lead budgeting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Produce accurate and timely financial information and management accounts and report on management KPIs.
- Budgeting and Planning: Lead divisional planning and budgeting processes.
- Inventory Management: Validate, report, and monitor site inventory levels, challenging stakeholders as needed.
- Financial Control: Oversee divisional balance sheet and working capital.
- Performance Analysis: Report and justify actual site P&L performance monthly. Analyse monthly turnover, margins and variances.
- Adhoc Projects: Work on projects to ensure continuous improvements within the division.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Recognised professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA);
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing company;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting role;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel;
- Strong analytical skills and manufacturing accounting experience are advantageous;
- Confident, passionate, and approachable;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic;
- Ability to solve problems and overcome technical challenges;
- Flexible and self-motivated.
