Key Responsibilities as Group Financial Accountant:
- Financial Reporting & ConsolidationPrepare monthly and quarterly group financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance;
- Budgeting & ForecastingCompile and analyse budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support strategic decision-making;
- Cash Flow ManagementControl group cash flow, ensuring financial stability within set parameters;
- Statutory & Management AccountsPrepare the annual consolidated statutory accounts and ensure compliance with regulations;
- Internal Audit & ComplianceConduct internal audits, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and manage risk;
- Business PartneringWork closely with divisional Finance Managers, supporting them with financial strategy and performance analysis;
- Financial & IT SystemsContribute to system improvements and financial reporting enhancements across the group;
- Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and key external stakeholders.
- Acquisitions & ProjectsSupport acquisition due diligence, integration, and financial modelling as opportunities arise;
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA preferred) with strong technical accounting and group reporting experience;
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems knowledge;
- Experience in group consolidations, cash flow management, and internal audits;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills;
- Ability to influence decision-making through high-quality analysis and communication;
- A confident, ambitious individual;
- Willingness to travel occasionally to UK and overseas sites;

Salary: £55,000 pa
Pension: 5% employee / 10% employer contribution

DIS: 5 x Salary
Holiday: 24 days annual plus 8 statutory
Hours: 8.30am to 5pm Mon to Fri with 1 hour for lunch (37.5 hours)
